Quick Progress Update - Development Log #1
Hey everyone, I've been working away for the past few days on the game and wanted to quickly update you all on how things are going.
Features Added:
- Basic movement (walking, jumping)
- Unlocking a new movement ability
- In-game timer that resets the game when it runs out
- The first weapon, which is a basic pistol
- A save system
Upcoming Features:
- Another weapon
- A combat ability
- Vendors
- Basic enemy
- First level/area
All of the upcoming features are close to being added, they are next on my to-do list.
I do not have any screenshots to share with you yet as I haven't had the chance to create any art assets yet, I plan to add these very soon however!
Instead, I would like to show you an early concept for the user interface that I have created using Balsamiq Mockups 3.
That's all I have for you this week, I apologize that there isn't much but I shall remedy that in the coming weeks and months.
The next development update should be out in around a week, somewhere between the 12th and 15th of April.
